I just got back from shopping with mom. I just turned on final practice from Phoenix.
Kim came to pick up Mackenzie a little before 9 am to take her to her ice skating lesson. I wanna go see Mackenzie on skates one day.
Mom & I have Mackenzie next weekend. Mom's getting her from Wednesday to Sunday because Kim & her parents are going to Vegas for Kim's brother's wedding. So we were talking about going down to Ann Arbor next Saturday to see Chad & Heather. We were also talking about going to see the Santa Clause 3. We both wanna see that movie. It looks too cute!
Mom & I took a shower & got ready to go before we went up to Sam's Club. Mom had to pick up her prescriptions. Then we went to Ted's Coney Island for lunch. I've been craving coney dogs so I had the 2 coneys, fries & pop (Mt. Dew) special while mom had the breakfast special. Then we went up to Super Walmart because I had pop bottles to take back & I had some stuff I had to pick up. Mom had over $20 in bottles in garbage bags in the garage. She's too lazy to take bottles back so she always gives them to me. Sweet! So it bought all the groceries I needed.
Mom had me cracking up today at lunch. She was telling me some of the stuff Mackenzie said & did last night. I guess Mackenzie was in her room watching a movie then mom tucked her into bed in her room. Mackenzie loves sleeping with Grandma when she stays over. So I guess she had put Mackenzie to bed & about a 1/2 hour later Mackenzie comes strolling down the hall, puts her hand on her hip & said something like "Grandma, can you please turn the TV down? I can hear it all the way down the hall." Oh man I about busted a gut at the mental image of her standing there, hand on her hip, her little blonde head just a bobbbin' telling mom to turn the TV down. LMFAO!!! Then I guess Mackenzie scared the shit outta her in the middle of the night. I guess Mackenzie sat straight up & said something about "I can't run!" Mom thought she was dreaming until she tilted her head back & said "Grandma my nose is running, I can't sleep!" So my mom gave her a kleenex to blow her nose, instead she just wiped her nose with it. Then my mom was like "You'd feel better if you blew your nose." So she did, then she flopped back down on the bed & was out like a light. That little girl is freakin' hilarious! She cracks my ass up!
Next week when I get paid I am going to do a bunch of my Christmas shopping. For the most part I know what I'm getting everybody. I have to go price a new cell phone for mom because hers sucks. Then again that usually happens when you drop your phone in a glass of water. The #5 doesn't really work all that well on her phone. I know I'm getting NASCAR matchbox cars & a Home Depot racing shirt for Alex. I'm getting some Disney Princess stuff for Hannah. I'm getting a Brandon Inge t-shirt for Grandma Downey. I'm thinking of a Best Buy gift certificate for Megan, that way she can get whatever CDs she wants. Buying stuff for a 13 year old can be hard. I'm getting some Littlest Pet Shop stuff for Mackenzie. Chad & Heather are others that I have no idea what to get.
I do need to make a trip up to Frankenmuth between now & Christmas. I have to get a flamingo ornament for Aunt Joanie. Then I am getting Grandma Studer an ornament with the great grandchildren's names to go with the one I got her last year with the grandchildren's names on it. Barb said once she gets back from Florida that she's game to go up there. Depends on her work schedule. She's starting her new job at Old Navy when she comes back.
My sinuses are kicking me in the ass again today. Then again the rain & cold isn't helping things much either. And to top off the sinuses, I also have an earache in my right ear too. Damnit! So I think I'm gonna lay down & try to take a nap & just pray when I get up for dinner later I'll feel better.
I can tell already that tomorrow is gonna be a lazy, lay around the house in your jammies & watch the race from Phoenix kind of days. LOL! ;)
