Lap 334 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Kasey Kahne leads the most laps and wins the Bank of America 500, his sixth victory of the season. He swept the Charlotte races, just the eighth time that has happened at the track.

Lap 330 -- Crew chief Chad Knaus tells Jimmie Johnson throttle back to save their second-place run.

Lap 329 -- With five laps to go, Kasey Kahne has a lead of 1.060 seconds over Jimmie Johnson. Jeff Burton trails in third, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. runs fourth.

Lap 324 -- Kasey Kahne's lead is just under a second over Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 310 -- Jeff Burton is feeling a vibration. His two teammates -- Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer -- have had transmission problems.

Lap 308 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kasey Kahne makes it stick on the outside and gets around Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 305 -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson gets the race going again.

Lap 302 -- Kasey Kahne leads everyone on pit road:
• Kasey Kahne gets fuel and two tires in 5.4 seconds

• Dale Earnhardt Jr. has a 7.5-second stop
• Jimmie Johnson takes fuel only and wins the race off pit road

Lap 301 -- YELLOW FLAG: Jeff Gordon has slowed. His car went up in smoke as he crossed the start/finish line. He says it blew up. "Not meant to be," his team said over the radio.

Lap 295 -- Six of the top seven drivers are Chasers. The only other inside the top seven is Carl Edwards in third.

Lap 280 -- GREEN FLAG: Kasey Kahne leads the field to green with 11 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 276 -- The leaders hit pit road:
• Jeff Gordon gets four tires so he can have none on the final stop

• Carl Edwards gets stuck in his stall behind Kyle Busch
• Brian Vickers gets the free pass

Lap 275 -- YELLOW FLAG: Debris is on the track.

Lap 256 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kasey Kahne edges in front of Carl Edwards for the lead. But the leaders are in traffic as they started behind a handful of cars trying to stay on the tail-end of the lead lap.

Lap 251 -- GREEN FLAG: Carl Edwards leads the field to green as only 11 cars are on the lead lap.

Lap 245 -- Kasey Kahne is on pit road for a chassis adjustment and to make sure he did not run over debris. Carl Edwards inherits the lead.

Lap 244 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is on pit road for his stop, as only four cars are on the lead lap. Kasey Kahne inherits the lead.

Lap 242 -- YELLOW FLAG: Mark Martin crashes hard on the frontstretch. J.J. Yeley came down to go onto pit road. Martin ducked below him to avoid the car and clipped Yeley, sending Martin violently into the wall nose-first. Robby Gordon is also involved. Martin is OK. Gordon drives away. Yeley drives to the pits with Martin's crew chief Pat Tryson trying to get to him.

Lap 240 -- LEAD CHANGE: Dale Earnhardt Jr. inherits the lead when Jeff Gordon makes his stop. Kevin Harvick is penalized for speeding. Jeff Burton stalls his car and his crew pushes it down pit road.

Lap 239 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jeff Gordon inherits the lead when Jimmie Johnson makes his stop.

Lap 238 -- Tony Stewart is in trying to loosen his car. Robby Gordon is also in. Mark Martin has a long stop -- 21.7 seconds -- and changes four tires.

Lap 237 -- Matt Kenseth is in, as is Kevin Harvick. Harvick gets a wedge adjustment and is off cleanly despite no third gear.

Lap 235 -- Kasey Kahne and Scott Riggs are in for stops due to bad fuel mileage.

Lap 217 -- Clint Bowyer is in the garage to change a transmission. Kevin Harvick is complaining of the same problem and says he has no third gear.

Lap 210 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jimmie Johnson takes the lead again, getting around Kasey Kahne.

Lap 209 -- After pit stops, the top five is led by Kasey Kahne:

Lap 206 -- Clint Bowyer is penalized for entering pit road too fast. He coasted on pit road without fuel. Now he reports he has no first gear.

Lap 205 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kasey Kahne gets the lead when Clint Bowyer pits. Bowyer is out of fuel and gets the car fired again to pull away.

Lap 204 -- LEAD CHANGE: Clint Bowyer gets the lead when Dale Earnhardt Jr. makes his stop.

Lap 203 -- LEAD CHANGE: Dale Earnhardt Jr. inherits the lead when Jimmie Johnson makes his stop for four tires.

Lap 202 -- Kasey Kahne, Kevin Harvick and Mark Martin begin green-flag stops.

Lap 180 -- Carl Edwards is reporting potential problems with his motor.

Lap 168 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jimmie Johnson gets around Sterling Marlin on the backstretch to take the lead.

Lap 167 -- GREEN FLAG: Sterling Marlin leads the field to green.

Lap 164 -- Most of the leaders are back on pit road:

Lap 163 -- YELLOW FLAG: David Gilliland loses it coming off Turn 2 and smacks the inside wall. Meanwhile, Jamie McMurray is behind the wall with a failed engine.

Lap 161 -- Elliott Sadler reports a broken valve in the motor and is done for the day. He says Kasey Kahne has the same engine.

Lap 159 -- LEAD CHANGE: Bobby Labonte pits. But Tony Rains and Kasey Kahne battle for the top spot until Kahne finally gets the spot.

Lap 158 -- Brian Vickers gets caught speeding and will serve a passthrough penalty. Ryan Newman almost hits Travis Kvapil in the pits. Newman has a long stop as the crew goes under the rear wheel well.

Lap 157 -- LEAD CHANGE: Bobby Labonte inherits the lead as Jeff Gordon pits. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is on pit road. Matt Kenseth runs out of gas and has trouble getting the car started on pit road.

Lap 156 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jeff Gordon inherits the lead when his teammate Jimmie Johnson pits.

Lap 154 -- Kevin Harvick and Casey Mears are both on pit road.

Lap 153 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kasey Kahne gives up the lead to make his pit stop. Jimmie Johnson takes command. Kahne gets four tires with an air-pressure adjustment. Scott Riggs is also in.

Lap 148 -- Tony Raines is on pit road for a scheduled stop for four tires. He has led 27 laps today.

Lap 143 -- Robby Gordon is on pit road for a scheduled pit stop to change tires and make an adjustment.

Lap 137 -- LEAD CHANGE: After several laps of running down Tony Raines and fending off Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne takes the point. Johnson follows.

Lap 125 -- Elliott Sadler is off the pace and immediately hits pit road. He claims it's an engine problem as the team goes under the hood.

Lap 122 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Raines gets around Elliott Sadler to lead for the second time tonight.

Lap 120 -- GREEN FLAG: Elliott Sadler leads the field to green.

Lap 118 -- Greg Biffle is behind the wall. His engine has expired.

Lap 116 -- Pit road is busy:
• Kasey Kahne has trouble getting out of his pit with Kevin Harvick in the way
• Everyone gets fuel only
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. wins the race off pit road, followed by Hendrick teammates

Lap 115 -- YELLOW FLAG: Reed Sorenson crashes hard on the backstretch. He has heavy damage to the nose as the car comes to rest. Kurt Busch lost it in Turn 2 and went spinning. Sorenson appeared to be tagged from behind and went spinning. Busch drove away.

Lap 112 -- Jeff Gordon is up to third after starting 41st tonight. Michael Waltrip says he is done for the night because of damage done in his accident.

Lap 109 -- GREEN FLAG: Kasey Kahne leads the field to green.

Lap 106 -- Kurt Busch gets caught speeding on pit road and will restart at the tail of the longest line.

Lap 105 -- Everyone is on pit road:
• Kasey Kahne gets gas only in 3.9 seconds and is off first
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. gets two tires
• Mark Martin makes adjustments for an extremely tight racecar

Lap 104 -- YELLOW FLAG -- Michael Waltrip loses it in Turn 4 and smacks the wall. He was out of gas and tried to dip onto pit road.

Lap 102 -- Scott Riggs is falling back. He tells his crew to be ready because he thinks he has a loose wheel.

Lap 96 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kasey Kahne gets around his teammate Scott Riggs to take the lead.

Lap 92 -- After all green-flag stops are complete, the grid looks similar to before the stops:

Lap 90 -- LEAD CHANGE: The cycle is complete as Matt Kenseth gives up the lead to Scott Riggs to make his stop.

Lap 89 -- Kyle Busch gets penalized for speeding coming onto pit road. He serves his passthrough penalty.

Lap 88 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jimmie Johnson gets the lead but heads to pit road for a stop after one lap. Matt Kenseth now leads.

Lap 87 -- Kevin Harvick is in for a green-flag stop with his teammate Jeff Burton. Casey Mears is also in.

Lap 86 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kyle Busch inherits the lead when Clint Bowyer makes his stop for four tires in 14.9 seconds. Jeff Gordon is on pit road as well.

Lap 85 -- LEAD CHANGE: Clint Bowyer inherits the lead when Scott Riggs gets on pit road for his stop.

Lap 84 -- Kasey Kahne is in for four tires.

Lap 83 -- Elliott Sadler is in for a green-flag pit stop. He's out with four new tires in 16.8 seconds.

Lap 79 -- Reed Sorenson is in for four tires and the crew tries to repair some of the fender damage on the right front. The goal is to stay inside the top 20 now.

Lap 78 -- LEAD CHANGE: Dale Earnhardt Jr. is in for a green-flag pit stop and gives the lead to Scott Riggs. Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle and Ryan Newman are also in for four tires. These four did not pit under the last yellow flag.

Lap 60 -- Denny Hamlin is back on the track making laps for points.

Lap 46 -- YELLOW FLAG: Todd Kluever spins on the backstretch and almost avoids everyone until Ken Schrader smacks into Kluever's No. 06 Ford. Michael Waltrip has damage from contacting the wall, and Kyle Petty touches Kluever for damage.

Lap 30 -- LEAD CHANGE: Scott Riggs runs down Tony Raines and gets around him for the lead. Kasey Kahne follows to take second.

Lap 21 -- GREEN FLAG: Tony Raines gets things going after staying out.

Lap 16 -- YELLOW FLAG: Dave Blaney spins coming off Turn 4 and has damage the the left front. Friday night's Busch race winner lost it in the corner.

Lap 12 -- LEAD CHANGE: Scott Riggs gets around his teammate Kasey Kahne to take the point.

Lap 11 -- GREEN FLAG: And again, Kasey Kahne gets the race back under way.

Lap 2 -- Denny Hamlin takes his car to the garage. His crew has a frame straightener and is working fast to try and repair the machine.

Lap 1 -- YELLOW FLAG: Kasey Kahne leads the first lap, but a huge crash occurs on the frontstretch. Robby Gordon gets clipped by Todd Bodine, setting off a pileup that includes Denny Hamlin, Mike Bliss and others. Hamlin has major damage to the nose and rear.
