Update
Yesterday was pretty cool.
Before I left the house Mom & I carried the Halloween decorations up from the basement & she was gonna work on decorating the house for Halloween. WOO HOO!!! My favorite holiday! And our 1st Halloween in the new house. YAY! She is also gonna work on putting up my Department 56 Halloween village on the island between the kitchen & living room because she said she'd rather use it for the village than a catch all like what it's being used for now. We have a tendency to just drop our purses, our keys, the mail, etc on it now. So the village would look pretty darn cool on it.
I stopped by McDonald's on the way to Barb's house to grab some lunch because they had just gone to Jimmy John's to get subs for lunch. Mmm...Jimmy John's is SO good! I should've went there, oh well.
I gave Hannah one of my french fries. She was too damn cute for words. She was out in the living room with it & she was trying to feed it to Alex's toy Buzz Lightyear. Aww!!!
Barb had warmed up some chicken nuggets for Hannah for her lunch. She was walking around the dining room & living room eating them. It was too funny cuz she kept trying to feed the dog her chicken nuggets & it's not like Precious is gonna turn down chicken nuggets. LOL! ;)
What was absolutely adorable is that Hannah fell asleep face down in the middle of the living room floor surrounded by toys with a chicken nugget still in her hand. Talk about a Kodak moment! And I didn't have my camera with me. Damnit!
Once Andy laid Hannah down in her crib for her nap we went up to the new Super Walmart. It was only Megan, Barb & I. Alex stayed home with Andy & Hannah. OMG I love that store! It's so big & it's awesome. I got some groceries & I had to pick up a bag of dog food for Stevie & Katie.
We got back from Super Walmart in time to catch most of the Busch race from Dover. Andy was watching the U of M game when we got back but he was falling asleep on the couch so we sent him to bed to take a nap. That gave me control of the remote so I turned it to the Busch race. Alex liked watching the race with me. He was cracking me up. Whenever a car spun out or hit the wall he'd go "UH OH!" It was too cute! And when I first turned the race on Jamie was leading so I started doing the cabbage patch & saying "GO JAMIE! GO JAMIE! GO JAMIE!" Alex looked at me & said "Auntie Shawn you funny!" Then he proceeded to immitate me saying "GO JAMIE! GO JAMIE! GO JAMIE!" How cute is he?
Alex is obsessed with the movie Cars & with Matchbox cars in general. So I know what I'm getting him for Christmas. A bunch of the NASCAR Matchbox cars. The one I absolutely HAVE to find is the Home Depot car. That boy is obsessed with Home Depot because Andy works there. It's not like I'd mind giving him a Tony Stewart car. Now if it were Lowe's & a Jimbo car that may be a different story... LOL! ;)
I brought my Pit Road Pets book over to show to Barb & Jenny. I was looking through it & when I got to Elliott's page Barb was looking at it upside down across the kitchen table from me. She goes "OMG he looks like Dr. McDreamy there!" HEE HEE HEE!!! YUMMINS!
Jenny came over after she got out of work yesterday afternoon because she was gonna watch the kids so Barb & Andy could have a date night. Tomorrow she works til like 3 pm & then I think we're all gonna go over to Barb's house to hang out this afternoon/evening. Maybe we can cook out on the grill or something.
