Weekend plans
Last night I talked to Barb on the phone & we finally came up with some sort of plan for this weekend.
Both Mom & I have State Park passes for the year so we decided to head up to Lakeport State Park's day park & have a picnic & enjoy the beach/lake with the kids.
Mom & I have Mackenzie tonight & tomorrow so it'll be a lot of fun. Alex & Mackenzie always have so much fun together. The water is really nice in Lake Huron this year. At least it was up in Harbor Beach & at Port Crescent State Park when I was there last week. So I'm guessing it will be at Lakeport too.
We also plan on going to see Talladega Nights this weekend too. WOO HOO!!! I can't wait. Will Farrell is freakin' hilarious. I love him!
I ran errands on my lunch today. I got almost everything done. I went to the Secretary of State to get a new handicap thing to hang from my mirror because mine fell apart. Then I went to the Cingular Store & bought a phone charger because I haven't been able to find mine since before I went on vacation (the home one that is). Then I went to Target to do a bit of shopping. I got bread & chips for my lunches & a box of oatmeal for my breakfasts. I also got a 2 liter of Diet Coke with Splenda for this weekend at mom's. I also got Hannah her birthday present. I got her the Little People house. Alex has a ton of Little People & Hannah likes playing with them too so I got her that to add to the soon to be city they have going on over there with Little People. LOL! ;)
Now all I gotta do is go to Meijer some time this weekend & get Gatorade & chips to take to MIS next weekend.
I really wish it was 6 pm already. I'm so ready to go! This week has dragged by so slow. Especially Monday. I was sleepy & didn't wanna come back from vacation.
Thankfully I have a short week next week. *does the cabbage patch* I only work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday til noon. Then I'm off for the weekend at the races. YAY! :D
Tonight is the first pre-season Lions game at Ford Field. It's against Denver. I bet $100 that Chad's gonna be there tonight. He's had season tickets to the Lions for like 2 or 3 seasons now. I'd like to make it to a Lions game one of these days just to say that I've been to one.
