I'm cooking

Mom just put the hair dye on my hair & now I gotta let it cook for a 1/2 hour. Then I'm gonna hop in the shower to get it out.

Yesterday in Frankenmuth was so much fun. Mom & I went to the bead store first. I couldn't find any cheerleader charms to make a green & white cheerleader bracelet for Megan so I had to come up with plan B. They were selling silver bracelets that you can attach charms to so I decided to go that route instead of making a beaded bracelet. I got her a dolphin charm, a purse charm, a butterfly charm, a heart charm that has XOXO on it & a bathing suit charm. It's gonna be really cute when I'm done. With the 5 charms, bracelet & the jump rings I only spent $7.37. Not too bad at all. We spent quite a long time in the bead store because mom was putting together a charm bracelet for my cousin Jenny for Christmas. Hers is gonna be really cute because it's got like 5 different purses on it & in between each of the charms she's gonna put a purple bead to dangle. So I think it's gonna be adorable.

After we were done in the bead store we took the back way to the Bavarian Inn so we got to drive across the wooden bridge. Cool! We didn't have to wait very long in line to get a table. Our waiter's name was Guy & he was pretty hot! YUM! Even in leiderhosen. LOL! ;)

The jam they had for the bread was strawberry rhubarb, it was pretty good. Then we got to nibble on cole slaw, chicken noodle salad, chicken noodle soup & some kind of cranberry sauce. Then when lunch came we had chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing with gravy, buttered noodles & squash. Mom & I finished the entire dish of squash since it was so good. We didn't even touch the buttered noodles because we were too busy eating chicken, squash & potatoes so we ended up taking it home with us. Then for dessert I got orange sherbert & mom ordered some kind of chocolate torte that had brandy in it. It was entirely chocolate, it looked really rich & chocolatey.

Once we were done stuffing ourselves with chicken at the Bavarian Inn we drove down to Bronner's to finish our day of shopping. Mom parked the car while I signed out a wheelchair. We were on a mission to find mirrored ornaments, iradescent ornaments or silver ornaments for mom's tree. We also checked out the Department 56 section that has all the Christmas & Halloween villages along with the Snowbabies. I found the cutest Snowbabies collectable that had Piglet riding on the back of a sled. It was precious! Mom fell in love with the M&M building & they even have M&M roads for it. Sweet!!!

I found strands of mirrored garland that was on clearance so Mom bought like 5 strands of it which cost her like $20. She also found a really pretty butterfly ornament that she wanted to add to her wall of butterflies but she decided not to get it once we found a really big red boot that you use to make a Christmas flower arrangement with fake flowers. Mom decided to get that for Grandma because she's so darn hard to shop for. She didn't buy any of the evergreens, holly or candy canes at Bronner's. She's gonna wait & pick that up at Hobby Lobby.

We finally made our way to the personalization area. I found all the ornaments without a problem except the one for Mike & Dana so instead of the snowmen family of 4 I got them a gingerbread family of 4. Not a big difference & it was the same price so it was all good. The lady did a good job personalizing them & they all turned out so cute! I was extremely pleased on how they turned out.

The road leading back to I-75 was kinda backed up because right where I-75 lets you off for Frankenmuth is Birch Run outlet mall. So there was a lot of traffic, the outlet mall was packed too.

I drove home & we got off I-69 in Wadhams because we had to go out to Lakeport to Pizzas & Cream to pick up Mackenzie. Her Aunt Sue had to work at 6 pm & we were gonna be cutting it close so Aunt Sue took Mackenzie to work with her & we were gonna pick her up there. WOO HOO!!! Gave us a chance to get an ice cream cone. While we were on the way to pick up Mackenzie I almost hit a deer. It came out of nowhere out of this ditch on the right side of the road. I had to slam on the brakes & the back end of the PT Cruiser started to fish tail. We were SO close to hitting that deer. I mean he was right there in front of us. Next thing ya know I'm shaking & practically hyperventilating. I think Mom & I saw the deer at exactly the same time, she said thankfully I was driving because I have quicker reflexes. I was sure I was either gonna hit the deer or end up in the ditch. So needless to say I was a tad bit jumpy the rest of the drive to Pizzas & Cream.

Mackenzie was eating a dish of mint chocolate chip ice cream when we arrived. Mom & I each got a sugar cone (I got mint chocolate chip & Mom got chocolate). We got to chat with Mackenzie's Aunt Sue & Mackenzie's Grandpa a little bit while we were eating our ice cream cones. I guess every night around the same time they get swamped with pizza orders. That's good though. Plus with the weather being so mild lately & it being so warm even though it's November people are venturing out to get ice cream.

When we got home we all got into our jammies & started to watch TV. We watched the hockey game but they didn't do so good so I think Mom turned it to Trading Spaces in like the 3rd period. She said she couldn't handle watching them lose anymore (plus she don't like Osgood). Mackenzie went to bed around 8:30 pm & was allowed to watch cartoons for a 1/2 hour (gotta love the sleep timer on the TV). Mom went to bed around 11 pm but I couldn't fall asleep for the life of me. I think I was up til like 1:30 am.

Man it's windy out today, the trees & flag on the front porch are just whipping around like crazy. Mom's out walking the dogs right now. She kinda left the front door open part way & all I gotta say is brrr...better her than me though. LOL! ;) It's kinda cold, it was so nice out yesterday so what happened?!?!? Damn wind!

I'm waiting for 3 o'clock to roll around to watch the race from Texas.

Mom & I plan on making another trip to Frankenmuth. We're planning on December 3rd. I wanna make a pair of earrings with the matching bracelet & possibly even the matching necklace for Heather for Christmas. Plus Barb said that she wanted to take a trip to Frankenmuth. Since she was in Florida yesterday she couldn't go with us so we're gonna go back again. I wanna make myself a Christmas charm bracelet. Plus Mom found a lot of stuff in both the bead store & Bronner's she wanted to get so we're gonna head back up there before Christmas.

Once I get out of the shower & my hair drys I'll take a picture of my new hair color.
