something inside of me
wants to draw you a blueprint of my mind
to define each thought
maybe it will help you understand
what makes me tick
maybe it will encourage you
to defuse this timebomb

shattered slabs of individuality
the remaining parts of myself
that are whole.
The rest is beyond broken
the remainder is lost
discarded for a smaller dress size.

I would make an exchange
my weakness and human side
for everlasting guitar chords
cowboy twangs
cigarette smoke
and neon city lights.
A walking contradiction
A cynical disaster
your rememberance
of how it feels when it rains
and the waters overflow.
