Holy Buggar it's lonely out here.

So I'm a bit exhausted with trying to make plans with people to go out and do things. People keep bailing at the last minute, and it's getting a bit difficult to not take it personally.

There are some really good commercials on tv, advertisingly speaking...(that's a good word). There are some horrid ones as well...time for adbusters, Nicole style...

The Garnett: Just the concept of having KG carrying tons of people on his shoulders as if it were nothing is awesome. But I guess I'm a bit biased, considering I'm a KG fan. I don't think anyone else could do it, though. For example, has anyone seen the commercial with Shaq for CRUNCH bars, where the mighty crunch of a candy bar manages to rip California from the continental United States? Exactly...he could never do a commercial with integrity. People on back= integrity. Major rule in the world of advertising.

Bowflex: If you use Bowflex, you'll get real results...and a boob job, apparently. Alright, no one can tell me that that 50 old lady has her original rack; let's be realistic. And the third grade teacher. It's fantastic that he's lost so much weight, but really, losing 150 points doesn't take away the fact that he's a third grade teacher with no personality...ah, I'm kidding.
He might teach a different grade at this point.

Sportscenter: Any commercial for Sportscenter is pretty well made, especially when Lance Armstrong is involved.

Enzyte: Male enhancement drugs; a difficult market to be a part of. I think the way Enzyte has mixed both a bit of comedy and some information is a perfect balance. The commercials where men and women are shown jumping on beds and exchanging coy glances, I don't think gets the job done. Enzyte does, so that men can too.
