Would you rather lead or follow? Why? What role do you see yourself playing out over your life, leader or follower?
Not many who are alive today know this, not even those closest to me, but when I'm given the choice, I prefer to follow. When the leader is right. When he is worth my time. Strong, clever, a great planner and a cruel torturer, master at the art of fear. It happened to me, once. A man so great I would follow him anywhere. One of a kind.
In the absence of such a man, I lead. When forced into the role. I take the reins, I call the shots. I've been a leader for many centuries. I've led men to victory, triumph, and incredible power. Someone has to hold the group together, it must go on. Even if it's not the same as it was before, even if I'm just filling in for our true leader.
I'm a good leader. But I enjoy following him more.
