My dog plays witha soccer ball and my cat drinks from the toilet bowl, pics coming soon!
It has been a crazy weekend. We moved Pax's mom Ruth down from NJ. Saturday morning we left around 8am. Four hours later we were in Jersey and trying to move boxes that line backers couldnt have gotten their arms around it if they tried! What a bitch! Of course we couldn't leave right away because "Mimi" had to say goodbye to all the lils and the lils were napping. We didnt get home until 9pm! 491 miles roundtrip in one day. Haaarsh!
Today we started the unpacking, well as much as I could help. Eventually I gave up and stuck to cooking some food. I made tropical granola bars, spam misubi, potato soup, quesadillas and tortillas! Oh and also chocolate covered strawberries and I nice big pitcher of sangria because drinks and chocolate are NEEDED on days like these.
I am having a bit of worry with regards to Ruth's eating habits, but mostly because she snuck a CINNABON when we were at a rest stop on our way down. *sigh* I'm hoping that sneaking isnt part of our regular routine.
My house is covered in boxes again, which is also a bit frustrating. Im hoping they will be mostly addressed by next week. *HOPE*
6-10 inches of snow predicted for tomorrow. The world just might end as far as North Virginia is concerned. Any amount of snow is cause for great panic. Walking the dogs should be interesting at best.
