Normally I get a lot of work done on my day off. Today was a pretty light day, I've been playing a lot of Minecraft too.
Let's see, I drove around to different hardware stores and purchased nothing. I moved the chicken infirmary out of the coop so I can later turn it back into a rabbit cage. I hope to have new bunnies soon. I moved the chicken food and water inside. Some mornings their water is partly frozen, so I moved it near the heat lamp. I moved the food with it so as to make it easier on me, best to keep the two in the same place.
I walked the dogs, as soon as I get my hole in my boot patched up I'll start taking them out in the woods again. The dogs like going for runs in the woods. Unfortunately I'm too sick to run in the winter, so until the weather gets better we just go on walks.
I seen these walkie-talkies at a store today for hunting dogs. Just you know, a little speaker on the collar. Since I don't fence the dogs and sometimes I let them out alone that would be a helpful device for when they take off far away from the house. They are getting too big for that shit.
I moved a bucket for water into the goat pen and converted their old water bucket into one I can put their grain in. My goats get hay and Goat Chow in the morning. The goat chow is basically just assorted grains and corn mixed with molasses, it smells really good. Unfortunately it attracts mice, but it's getting cold do thats okay. In the spring I should get a barn cat.
