there was a time where i thought we had a future. i was so upset that it didn't work out the way i wanted it to ... the way it was SUPPOSED to. you know, we really could've been something great! something terrific! and the thing was you PROMISED! i was so hurt. so so so so hurt. but i'm really glad that things have worked out the way they have because you're an awesome person and i realize i don't have to be dating you to know that.

I'm so glad things worked out the way they did, though. Because as you know I'm extremely happy with my boyfriend now, and he's great. I know/hope you'll be really happy too, soon!
