Two things that happened tonight that I thought were note worthy
Mid rehearsal Laurie looks at me and says OOH! I meant to bring something over for you..... Ok.
Well, didnt think of it at all and rehearsal ends. I then give the "pep talk" to the team about this weekend and them being in charge of the crew orientation and such. I finish up and get ready to leave. While gathering my stuff I glance over and guess who is spending the run of Betrayal with me? ELROY! The little build a bear monkey from Mc Donalds that Laurie inherited during the run of Biloxi and then lived in the booth for the both of us. He was even given his own 7-11 cup.
I thought that was very sweet of her. Not sure if he is mine or on loan but still..... very cute.
Got home this evening and noticed that the note I left on my roomates floor was still there so I took the bold leap of opening her door to check in on things (like I did over break to see if anyone had been around). Well, yes it was quite sketchy and I deserved what was to come..... she was in there. So, of course I had to talk with her. I'll try to sum up. She gave me a check for the food that was devoured by her boyfriend who has a key to the house and has been eating my food thinking it was hers. So, we chatted about that and set the record straight. A HUGE relief for me. We also chatted about how she has had her laptop, tv, ipod and cash stolen from her room. Odd, and quite nerve racking.
Ah well, I will now go to bed peacefully. Not completly happy that I didnt know about it sooner but I feel we have a better communication now and things should get better.
