Happiness is....
- flannel pajamas
- football games in the rain (on TV, not in person)
- gratuitous LOTR refs on Chuck
- only one more day of testing
- securing a spot in the playoffs with two regular-season games left to play
- knowing that all we have to do to have an unbeaten record and home field advantage for the playoffs is win those last two games - at home, against two teams with a combined record of 0-19

In other news, I watched the first chunk of SNL this weekend because I wanted to see Brian Williams host. I figured he'd actually do a pretty decent job, or it would at least be entertaining to watch the train wreck. Amazingly, it was the former. (I watched Lance Armstrong host for the same reason - unfortunately, he fell into the "amusingly bad actor" category.)
Although as well as he did, it was really the cameos that were the best. I'm not sure what made me laugh harder - the guy in the Barack Obama mask at the Halloween party turning out to be... Barack Obama, or Williams chucking pennies out of his high-rise office window at Al Roker and Matt Lauer on the street below, with Lauer looking up and bitching, "What kind of *bleeeep*hole throws pennies out windows??" *snerk*
So, I was pretty impressed, especially considering I sit firmly in the camp that believes SNL hasn't really been funny since the early 90s.
