It's who you know
Extreme Home Makeover tonight is in North Pole, Alaska. The house is about half a mile down the road from my uncle and his family. Not quite as cool as tnbella's connection, but I thought it was nifty nonetheless.

The shower yesterday was okay. The lack of annoying games was countered by the fact that there were about 35 people there, and only three of us (the bride, the bride's college roomie, and me) were under the age of 50. And of all the ones over 50? Most of them were on the far side of it. VERY far side of it.... The roomie and I were also the only ones who were not family or connected to the bride through the church. *eye roll* Oh well, it was neat to see Sarah, but I'd been hoping that some of our mutual friends from high school who still live in the area would have been there.

And in other news, I got Kate (not tarzanic) addicted to Wonderfalls last night. Hee!
