Oy, what a day. From this afternoon on, actually. Dog got sick all over the carpet at my parents' house, and in cleaning it up I discovered that toilets? Don't like paper towels. So then I cleaned up the overflowing toilet. Doh.
Became a (temporary) mom at 4:15, and that's gone well. Garage sale, dinner, painted a Mother's Day present that we technically started in the middle of football season, bath, book, bed. All relatively painless. We'll see how getting up in the morning works, as that seems to be a constant struggle.
Then I

Okay, the second Michael and Neela decided to get married, we knew he was dead. No question. I was actually expecting it to happen earlier, on more than one occasion. But after the preview, and seeing the ep title, it was obviously going to be tonight.
But damn. As many people as they've killed on this show (like, real characters), they still found a way to make me blink and say "Whoaaa."
They did so many little things with it - starting with Luka, who'd been in his own war, and all the people who were his friends. My favorite episode is still the one with Gallant, Carter, Luka, Abby, & Susan in the sexual harrassment workshop, so I kept thinking back to that, when Gallant first started talking about the armed forces.
And then they had to go and do the videotape thing, which is always Ow. Partly because of the message, mostly because of Neela's reaction. That's what always gets me.
So, *sniffle*. Bye Gallant - you were one of the few reasons I stuck with the show two seasons ago. If you have a real-life equivalent, send him my way.
And now off to watch the Tonight Show photo booth (assuming I didn't just miss it) and Funniest Videos reruns so I go to bed smiley.
