Spent the evening recoloring the grout on my fireplace (sounds crazy, but it looks awesome), and in approximately one hour, I will have up to half a dozen high school girls descend upon my house. My aunt's exchange students have prom tonight, and the dance and post-party are both in CF, so instead of changing in the bathrooms, they're coming here. My house is therefore more picked-up (I won't delude anyone by using the word "clean") than it has been in months...

Still sore from my graceful tumble on Wednesday (crashing into the side of the truck on the way down earned me bonus points, I'm sure), and it either triggered or accompanied a virus that wiped me out for the next two days. Blargh. I felt okay enough to go to work, but too crappy to do anything else. Whee. Before that hit, however, I stopped at the used cd/dvd place and found an interesting array of selections. Anyone interested, give me a yell.

Absolutely nothing.
2. Elaborate on your default photo?
It's a pretty shot & quote from Pitch Black, and iirc, I stole the idea from ladysorka.

4. What's your current relationship status?
*snort* Non-existent.
5. What EXACTLY are you wearing right now?
Fuzzy blue socks, blue knit pants with surfboards on them, and a gray long-sleeved UNI football t-shirt. In other words, pajamas.

I can't go to bed yet because Edie & the girls won't be here for another hour.
7. Who do you love most?
Whomever invented flannel pajamas.
8. What makes you most happy?
When my puppy cuddles up next to me to sleep.
9. Are you musically inclined?
I played cello, trumpet, and/or french horn from 4th grade through college, but "musically inclined" would likely be a stretch.
10. If you could go back in time and change something, what would you change?
When I began to even consider getting involved with LoserBoy, I would have slapped myself and yelled "Standards! You have standards!" and saved myself a godawful lot of trouble.
11. If you MUST be an animal for ONE day, what would you be?
A sloth. Maybe I could catch up on my sleep that way.

I teach junior high. Every day is a near-death experience.

In college my boss' husband called me Lois because he thought I looked like Teri Hatcher on Lois & Clark (which was on the air at that point). It was mainly the hair color & style, because the rest of me? Yeah, not so much.
25. Do you still watch kiddy movies or TV shows?
Older animated Disney, some Pixar, Jimmy Neutron if nothing else is on.

Yep.

Spanish, Russian, Swedish, Scottish Gaelic, and Croatian, all to varying degrees of proficiency.
