Undercover Agents

Just some clarification, so I don't sound too.. Batty, yknow. Hahaha. In case some of you, having read Aly's latest post, start thinking that I really have lost it.

She wrote,
Supposed to meet for coffee at 2pm today. I was early so I went to the library first. Nick came along, plopped herself into the seat across me,
and I said "eh can you get internet?" She burst out giggling. Shortly after, I received a msg saying, "I feel like an undercover agent"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. FUNNY MAX!!! Then she didn't want us to leave at the same time because it would "blow our cover"!!! (and now i happily blog abt it haha) Obviously someone has been watching too much tv...

My version:
I noticed Aly, and an empty seat directly opposite her (really quite am1, seeing that she all the other seats were taken), while walking up the ramp thingum at Bishan Library. So I was totally congratulating myself on recognising her back profile in the midst of an ocean of, well, backs, when I realised that.. I was being very observant like a spy! And the silence, the empty seat, completely confirmed it for me. It was a scene straight out of a HK police undercover movie. Yes. All that was missing was the gang of triad elders sitting in the reading room nearby, sipping Chinese tea from tiny porcelain/clay/whatever cups.

But I kept these fantasies to myself, and behaved very very very very normally okay! I ANSWERED her question about the Internet connection! And didn't 'burst out giggling'! It was just a discreet smirk to myself:D Neither did I take out newspapers with cut holes through which I would communicate with her, using eye contact. :D And we DID leave at the same time! I merely stated that, in copper flicks such as these, it wouldn't have been prudent for the characters to leave together.

So there, very normal, Aly :D Hahaha. But yes, I admit that I've been following Yes Sir! Sorry Sir! on VVDrama and it's damnnnnnn hilarious. Basically spoofs the typical Hong Kong police undercover film, complete with Moses Chan (and his permanently goofy expression) in the lead role.
