selena's here. she's in texas with me, with us. i can't get over it. just a month ago i never would have thought that i would be spending christmas with my girlfriend, and that that girl would be selena. and maybe it's moving fast, but i don't care. spending holidays with the family is a big step in general, but this is selena and this is my family. she's already a part of the jonas household. my mom loves her, kevin loves her, frankie loves her, joe loves her, and i'm sure my dad loves her even if she says he doesn't. it was such a spur of the moment, spontaneous thing, but i've actually kind of been thinking about it for a few days. ever since she told me that she didn't really know what she was doing for christmas, i wanted to suggest that she would just come to texas with us. and then when she told me last night that she definitely was going to spend christmas by herself - not with demi or with her grandma - i couldn't have that. so...i invited her. and she got on a flight to texas.
i love selena. i love christmas. i love that selena's here to spend christmas with us. i haven't been able to give her her present yet, because frankie came barging in at like nine in the fucking morning - after we didn't get home until after two - saying that we had to get up because they couldn't open presents without us. he wasn't even fazed that selena was sleeping in my bed with me, which is probably not a good thing. but this is the first moment that selena and i have been away from the family, and she's taking a shower now. but basically we've all just been hanging out. we opened presents (i wanted it to be just me and selena when we exchanged presents, and she agreed, so i guess we'll do that later) and then we ate lunch (which basically consisted of all of the cookies my mom made) aaaand we played golf. and went swimming. on christmas. it was pretty sick. i'm really excited, because she keeps saying that she's giving me the best present ever. but i'm more excited about giving selena her present.
