Interview to Josh Schwartz
I was reading an interview to Josh Schwartz on the latest issue of "Telefilm Magazine" that was apparently done in London recently and there's a sort-of-interesting snippet in it.
Josh and the interviewer are discussing Season 2 (which hasn't aired in Italy, yet; it'll premiere early next year.) and the Marissa/Alex arc, so the interviewer goes, like:
I: '..Speaking of which, should we expect a male homosexual relationship, too, in a future season?'
J: 'You mean aside from the one between Seth & Ryan? *laughs* No, I don't think so, we've been there, done that, you know. Even though there are people who think Seth & Ryan themselves are more than just good friends.'
Now, I'm obviously disappointed by such an answer, because it keeps on..well, crashing my hopes, yet I can't help hoping against hope, LOL. I also think it's funny Josh mentions us Ry/Seth shippers in interviews and stuff and I'm always happy when other people see it, too. Because I think the interviewer had just Ryan & Seth in mind when he asked the question (several Italian teen mags and newspapers have noticed and mentioned the 'gay subtext' in articles about the show).
