I've just watched episode 3x04 of "The O.C." and I'm afraid it's a hopeless case. Episodes so far have been, like, a single big boring-when-not-depressing episode, full of déjà-vus, just not the right ones.

Like some people said, it feels like Seth is just..tired, and, although there were a couple of Ryan/Seth moments in this episode, they felt 'tired' as well, like Josh Schwartz thinks we slash fans can take such pathetic sugar lumps and settle for them.

Um, hello?!

But do you want to know what the worst thing was? (Yes, it's a rhetoric question =P) At the end of the episode there was this *yawn* scene where Marissa and Ryan are in the poolhouse and she says the first song they'll catch on the radio will be their song *gags*, so she turns on the radio and a horrible hip hop song comes on. She changes the radio station and this sort of ballad starts to play. Imagine my face when I realized it was a 'remix' of "Forever Young"!

Yes, that "Forever Young". Ouch. >.<

IMHO, the only reasons why it's still worth watching it are the Cohens/family moments and this cute new Johnny character.

On a happier note, I finally watched "Jeffrey" a couple of days ago and I enjoyed it, also because there are many little details that somehow remind me of "QAF". So, many thanks to msjudi for suggesting it. =)

movies, the o.c., qaf, jeffrey
