Since Ive been on my own (going on 5 years now), Ive never been this broke before. We seriously only have $10 to last us until God knows when.
Aaron impulsively quit his job at Best Buy, for a number of reasons. They promised him a promotion and a raise, and then froze labor and told him that wasnt going to happen, but mainly because he didnt like the idea of clocking in and out everyday, and working with people that were completely content with making a career at that place. I was pretty upset with him for quitting before he had another job, but within a few days he got hired back onto the General Jackson (where we met). Now he's just waiting to get his results back from his drug test, then start orientation, then go through training. Which means we probably wont have any type of income for the rest of this month.
It's really put a strain on me, because I wasnt supposed to go back to work until the second week of August. Well, I had to call up The Rutledge and ask them if I could come back early, and they gave me a shift on Friday night. It was dead, and I only made $20. I dont think Ill be able to pick up a shift for next week on such short notice, so, Im fucking stuck.
Rent is due in 15 days, and so are the utilities. Thankfully my jeep is paid off, but gas prices are a bitch. And thankfully Im breastfeeding and that's free, as well as the fact that we got a ton of diapers at my baby shower.
