Holland Village
This is just a mash of thoughts.
I spent about an hour sitting at frolick Holland Village just thinking, just people watching. It was refreshing. Shall dedicate more of my time doing similar things from now onward.
'Twas a time when we used to lunch on our chicken wings whilst watching the crowds roll by on a lazy afternoon from the second floor of the fast food joint. Dessert, on certain days, consisted of milkshakes and Root Beer floats at another place just down the line of shops hawking all manner of antiques and oddities.
frolick. This place used to be a florist. The smell of fresh flowers always made the nearby food outlets smell all the better to me.
The sky today was overcast, but it didn't rain. A passing thought crossed my mind, sitting there, looking at the sky. We're Singaporean. We don't run unless we need to catch the bus. Or get out of the rain. Or there's a sale of some sort going on.
The next few weeks will be better, probably.
