birthday wishes..
this year i had a pretty awesome surprise for my birthday (and it isnt even my birthday yet! haha..) my colleagues gave me a huge surprise.. so let me tell that story... last wednesday, i was on duty to cut case i.e. start the screening work for cases. but i cant start without supervision. the senior who was supposed to supervise me was busy and he asked me to go and cut my "urgent" case first. i was like hmm my first day cutting case and i get an urgent.. something feels a little off.. but i gowned up anyway, didnt think tt senior would say tt as a joke.. so i went to find vincent who explained to me some stuff i should take note of.. off and on, he would be looking over to the computers where bq & audrey were.. i sort of knew something was up but i didnt really know what it was.. ok so nvm, continued listening... then i moved over to another bench and vincent followed closely behind... fishy!!! but i still didnt know what it was.. then senior walked in, ok let's cut case... so ok, the "urgent" case came in a box with the name "Sexual Offense Examination Kit". i was thinking, "this *urgent* case had only comprised of one vaginal swab.. why would they need such a big box?" so i asked vincent, 'how come this box is so unusual? i havent seen it before.' he was still telling me 'oh yar this sort of submission very rare but is have.' everything was right.. seals were there.. i had to sign COC etc... BUT NO SUBMISSION FORM. so they were saying "yar urgent urgent. they will send the submission form over later today." ok seals were sliced. my senior then said 'ok since it is your first day cutting case, we dont have ang baos to give. so you open your first exhibit on your own.'
so i did... AND THERE IT WAS.. MY NOOK!!! hahahahah i was so pleasantly surprised.. and i was actually so tensed!! i actually thought i was really and actually cutting my first case la!!! but it was nice... i was really pleasantly surprised.. they made my first cutting case such a memorable one..
haha thinking about it already puts a smile to my face! :)
