stupid stupid STUPID!
SO my sister FINALLY got the Police report from their accident.....and oh man is she PISSED! First off, the investigator didn't interview any witnesses, didn't interview tha EMT's, and didn't read the pre-liminary report! Instead, he states that "IF the seatbelt was used for the child, it was used incorrectly." IF! IF!!!! FIrst off, the police chief told the press that both children were PROPERLY belted and in the required seats....as if G would do anything less..... also, the injuries to Lily's Heart and Lungs are exactly the types of injuries that one would receive when wearing a seatbelt...(her lungs were bruised and her heart was bruised and had a tear in it, those were the only organs they couldn't use).... Its on her death certificate that she was properly belted and seated....but he didn't look at that either. The man....is an IDIOT! So G called her lawyers (she has THREE!), and they have already forwarded all the info he did not look at to the investigator, and have informed him that if he does NOT remove the passages that have to do with that, he will be charged with falsifying a report, and they will take him all the way. Hopefully this caN be resolved....but so far, everyone is pretty pissed about this whole thing.
Other things.... G and J are finally going to therapy....and things are going ok in that. Merrik was moved into what was once Lily's room.....the whole room was redone....paint and everything. Lily's stuff has been, mostly, packed. Her clothes and blankets and things. Her dolls are in G's new study room along with a few of her most cherished ponies. They're getting along pretty well. Merrik's head is doing allright, they find out if his sinuses are going to need to be repaired later this week. But even if he does, they've already said it should be put off till he's atleast five. We'll see...
