Hey there everyone!
Well it's been an eventful week over here. Dad, Traci and Mike (aka Fuzz) came to visit this weekend which was tons o' fun. We spent the day in St. Augustine yesterday and then had dinner at the Landing. We watched "Someone Like you" with Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman. Very good movie I do have to say. I was pleasantly surprised. Then this morning they left but not after going to lunch at Johnny Carinos... ahhhh I "heart" Johnny.... So anyways. It was a lot of fun.. lets do a recap of the funnies throughout the weekend cause i'm sure some of us (me) will never live it down...
So we were shopping at the outlet malls and mike wasn't in the best mood. He kept walking way ahead of us and what not.. so finally I go to get up and I scream "Michael!" in my best gay boy impression. And then I "scurry" up to him with all the "flair" i could muster.. Definately shaking what my mama gave (or in my case, didn't give) me. This continued all afternoon because it was funny. He went to try on a shirt and I put my hand on my head and go "Oh my god! Oh my god! Look at that body... Excuse me, I need a moment!" it was funny.. top that off with all of us shooting eachother with finger guns through the clothes and stacks.. it was definately funny..Had to be there i'm sure
Then we go to the Landing for dinner and it's Homecoming Hell... Let's put it this way, we were the only non-high schoolers at the place, which was quite entertaining. So they start taking pictures in front of us and in one picture, mike and dad hug eachother and smile for the camera, it was really funny cause who would want to see my dad and mike behind all these girls hugging eachother? Then my brother starts standing up and making funny faces at their cameras. I'd love to see the pictures, or at least their faces as they see them...
So here is my shining moment,
We were sitting outside overlooking the river, and of course, the bridges. Well the Acosta bridge (I think) has all the blue lights on it and we were just complaining about how all of the lights weren't working, it looked like a broken line of blue.. and then I say, Hey look, the lights are moving! then Jaime said "Those would be cars"... Ok so let me explain my dumbass moment as it does sound really retarded.. the way the cars came across the bridge blocked the blue lights and they were at even intervals so it really looked like it was sequenced that way...I felt like a dumbass.. we all had a good laugh at my expense, I cried with humiliation while others cried cause they laughed too hard...
Then Mike goes to the bathroom and Traci goes, "Does he have a bladder problem or something?" cause it was the 3rd time he had gone in like a half hour, and Jaime said "No he's probably going in there to warm himself up.." I thought she said "he's probably going in there to rub himself up" and i was like "WHAT?!?" We all laughed at me again but then mike comes back.. and he's putting on his jacket and shaking his sleeve out and water sprays all over my face... (at least i hope that's what it was) lol He says his coat got wet when he washed his hands... i hope for both our cases that was true ;) haha
So those were the funny moments, we had a good time. I work tonight which is always exciting. I've had a busy couple of weeks as I have had 2 jobs lately, and of course school with the neverending experiment. It's ok tho, it's almost over, and not to mention,I'm going to New York in less than 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!! I need a trip, get out of jax for a couple days.. Next weekend should be fun tho considering it's Fl/GA and Halloween... Here's to fun times!
