the start of another week
yet another weekend came and went...
i was exhausted at work pretty much all day since i only slept about 3 1/2 hours on friday night... i managed to stay awake the whole shift (although i was pretty useless until about 12noon). Joey didn't mind, not like there's that much to do on the weekends anyway.
My mom picked me up for the train station and we went to eat (but i was so tired i just picked at my food) and then we went to blockbuster and i rented two movies (that i have yet to watch): Mean Girls and Man on Fire or whatever its called (the one with denzel washington trying to save that girl dakota fanning). anyway... so we got home and it was almost 10, and i passed about before 11:30 (i know, im such a barrel of fun). i end up waking up at around 1am and couldnt go back to bed for like an hour or so, and when i had to get up sunday morning to go to my lesson, i was sooo tired. normally when im driving there im not that tired or sluggish, but yesterday i felt like i had been out all night. i was kinda worried considering i was going to riding a 1000lb animal and be in control of it... but i was fine once i had some time to wake up on the way....
riding was good - and luckily the weather was also... i ended up riding the same horse i have been riding the past couple of weeks, but i think that since ive been able to get a sense of his ride, yesterday was actaully a good lesson except for the fact that pigpen(the horse) is lazy the first 5-10mins so getting him going is like getting me outta bed before 11am. but beth, my instructor even said that i definitely was riding him much better - that my trot was much smoother and was in much better control when i was riding so i was psyched - i think that im getting better... at least i hope that i am....
i showed my mom the riding pants that i have and showed her that even though ive only had them for about 2 months, the seams are starting to pull on the knee patches.... and i was like since its getting colder too, i cant really wear these much longer... shes like yeah those are more summer-like right??
so my mom has off this thursday and friday and i asked her if we could go to the store up the street this is all about horse stuff and i think that we going !! yeah!
well i must get going to catch my train....
