Little update on my life. When? Riiiiiight....wait for it....wait-for-it.......waaait....aaaaaaaand....NOW!:
I'm workin 6 days a week, 10-12 hour shifts, outside in the heat, throwing wood around, driving a fork lift, loading trucks and pulling orders for a wood treating facility out here in Washougal. Doesn't leave a lot of time for much else, but at least it pays like crap.
I'm living with my beautiful girlfriend Noel, and I just bought a pit-bull, ...we named him Doolie. If you know anything about pit-bulls at all, you'd know that they require tons of attention and they're strong as shit, not too mention kinda thick headed. So he accidentally killed a couple of Noel's Cat's kittens a month ago. It's not his fault, he was just trying to play and he doesn't realize how fragile they are. So Noel's mom offered me $250 (the amount I payed for him) to get rid of him. I don't think I am though, I kinda like the little fucker, even if he is a pain in the ass-hole.
Hauler is going well. Aaron is on tour with his other band, but Ben, Jay, and I still write without him. And I think we're moving him to do just the vocals and find someone to replace his guitar duties. We gotta find someone cool & good though, I don't want no chumps in my band.
I think we're going to do a side thing where I'm going to actually sing...not scream, but actually sing like John Garcia from Kyuss. The music is all blues scale rock, not really pissed and heavy like Hauler is, but more rockin' and groovin' like Clutch and Kyuss, so it'll fit perfect. Jayson and Ben are already writing songs for it. Tyson is going to handle the drums and hopefully we can all find the time to do this, because it sounds fun. We're going to call it "CREEPER", after my favorite kind of weed. Plus I think band names that end with an E-R are cool.
