Wooooaahhhh! Insanity!
I went to the NQSH show last night, and it was totally nuts. Well, we showed up and they were told they were going to play second, then third, then second, and THEN last. Pappy's stops its music at 10:00pm, and every band before them is playing full sets, which means that NQSH would not have time to play. But that didn't seem to stop Nathan from Silent Like Auburn to get them to play last anyway. And I think this was this second or third time NQSH has been screwed over by them...Just so they can play their full sets. And another reason they wanted NQSH to play last is because EVERYONE was there to see them, not all these other bands...I just think it was fucked up, and I'm glad NQSH refused to play. So Sarah had the band play at her house, in her garage. They played, and it was one of the best shows they've played in my opinion. Everyone had a really great time. And after we left Pappy's, there were like 5 people there, and then the bands. That's what they get for being selfish assholes.
ANYWAY...There is a party at Jake's tonight, a pool party thing. That'll be really fun, I'm tempted to call Nicole and invite her, but I'm a moron...I probably won't. But yeah, fun-fun tonight.
My band has practice tomorrow, it's our last practice before our first show...Aug. 7th! I'm ready, and I'm pumped.
