i was reading neofuturist plays online and came across this one. it's a little dated, but i like it.
two people stand on stage holding either end of the huge american flag. they speak their first few lines simultaneously
both: i am waving this flag to show my support for all the people who were cruelly murdered by terrorists on september 11th i am waving this flag. i am waving this flag to show my sympathy for the relief workers who have the ungodly task of digging through the rubble in search of the bodies i am waving this flag. i am waving this flag to show my anger at the terrorists who committed this act of atrocity against innocent civilians i am waving this flag. i am waving this flag to show my unity with all americans in these troubled times i am waving this flag.
one: i am waving this flag to show that the usa is number one and will not be pushed around by anyone i am waving this flag
two: i am waving this flag to show that these stars and stripes stand for millions of people who have nothing to gain by waging a war against terrorists i am waving this flag
one: i am waving this flag to show my hope that the usa will kick some afganie butt in the next few weeks by bombing them into oblivion i am waving this flag
two: i am waving this flag in hopes that the leaders of this country will come to their senses and not need a show of meaningless violent reprisals to illustrate the size of their dicks i am waving this flag
one: i am waving this flag to show that all these arabs are ruining this country and they should take their towels and go back to where they came from i am waving this flag
two: i am not waving that flag
