Number Two Puppy
I paid a visit to Lyra. Her step mom kept saying "she's getting so big!" which I found amusing as the biggest this dog will ever be is about 11 pounds. It's admittedly odd to be considering such an un-dog. Moreover she's a girly dog. That's a new one for me as well. On the plus side as puppies go she's both unflappable and mellow. This bodes well for her introduction to Brown. I'm not terribly worried about Chipper. I'm sure he'll be intimidated.
Today didn't suit for some reason. There were pockets of good: Lyra, quick visit with the M's, an aesthetically pleasing new haircut. Not so inspiring included: pushing furniture around for hours, feeling trapped in Ikea, buying a headache of a rug that will be returned pronto. Hopefully what I have of tomorrow will be better. I'm on a plane at 8.
