Nickdoll Finally Gets Some!......Well......Kinda.......
hey all--> seems like awhile since i've posted....anyhoo, i went an amazingly fabulous concert last night, featuring the chicago-based band The Dog & Everything, and my favorite, Better Than Ezra!!!
The weather here has been absolutley shity the past few days, and it was raining when i first got there. luckily, though, it cleared up. The concert was a blast- i was front and center for the whole thing. I was a bit annoyed by the constant shoving, wedging, etc., but what else should i have expected from a crowd of Kevin-crazed coeds and drunk beefcakes?
The concert was complete with all the Ezra trademarks- the "breakdown", random covers in the middle of songs, falsetto singing, song requests etc. etc. If you have never been to a BTE concert, i suggest to you check one out the net time they're in your area. On an up note, i was able to get a ton of great pics, and for about a third of the concert, a random girl proceeded to feel up most of my lower torso, completed by her hands full-on my ass for about two songs (no one can resist caressing squeezable softness of the J-lo!!!). It's kind of embarrassing that it was about the most play i've gotten in a year or so.....poor me!!!
This is only the second time i've gotten to see BTE in my 6 years of obsession, so i was quite disappointed when they didn't stick around after the show. Rumor had it that they went down to State Street to party for a bit, but after a half-hearted search, i again came up empty handed.....oh well, there's always next year. Now that my weekend fun is over, i am faced with the stark realization that there are only two more weeks left in the semester, and i have WAAAAAAAAY too much to do.....on that note, time for me to start reading the night away.....later fools! ~nickdoll
