Jennifer just got in from Florida last night. She's staying w/ me til Monday. Laura's wedding is on Saturday. The rehearsal is on Friday night. I'm reading in the wedding...twice! woohoo...i'm special! LOL Anyways, Jennifer's also worried about Hurricane Wilma possibly hitting where she lives. Hopefully it will weaken or something...i dunno.
So, I had an internship interview on Monday for Bandy, Carroll, Hellige advertising. I was so excited when they called me for an interview, but come Monday i started getting nervous about the interview. I dunno what it is about interviews...but i always have to make sure i go to the bathroom before i leave for the interview b/c my nervousness sometimes gets the best of me and my stomach starts churning if you know what i mean. Not that i'd shit all over the place, but it would just help my nerves out a little if i used the bathroom before ! lol...anyways! Hey, we're all human! Anyways, it turns out i ended up getting the job on the spot. I was so excited. So, i'm going to be working in the Public Relations department. They do both advertising and public relations, but i told him i was more interested in the public relations aspect of it, because i'm currently taking a PR writing course and i've also taken PR classes in the past and i figure i like it so i think that might be my niche! Who knows, we'll see. But he was telling me that he likes his interns to get lots out of the internships and not just copying and filing and all tha tbullshit. So, i totally agreed. I start next Wednesday working on McDonald's client stuff. I'm really excited! but still nervous about it.
Also, the Ashlee Simpson cd came out yesterday...and when i say excellent, i mean EXCELLENT! I hate how people only identify her w/ SNL. That's so lame. Every artist once in their lives has lip-synched! And everyone makes mistakes. She's not fake and she can sing. Yeah, she's not the greatest singer in the world, of course not, but her music is fun and she has a good voice, and it's definitely fun to sing to! I love my ashlee!
