It’s the start of another week, and the end of an excellent weekend.
I went out on Friday next for a bit of a party with workmates and other friends. We went to a tapas bar called the Salvador and Amanda, which is on Great Newport St. I had an excellent night drinking lots of sangria, and chatting to mates. The tapas itself was ok, nothing great, but nice none the less. Having spent quite a lot of time in Spain when I was a kid, and having had excellent tapas in Barcelona, it never quite seems to compare. But the Sangria was excellent, and I was very merry by the time I left.
On Saturday I went to meet Hilary’s brother, and it turned out, Aunt, in Mortlake. We had some lunch and a coffee and then headed back to Greenwich.
On Sunday I headed into Canary Wharf and took advantage of Austin Reed’s sale to buy a suit I’ve wanted for some time. It fits incredibly well; they’re also very well made so it should last for a very, very long time.
This week is going to be very busy. I have a report to produce, and a presentation to do on it too. So it’ll probably be the weekend before I know it.
