Computers, Estelle Getty, and stuff
My 5 year old ibook can be repaired for less than I thought, Yay! It turns out that they do not have to replace my logic board, they just have to replace the power chip. This little discovery will save me $129. Yay! It's been weird being without a computer at home. I just hope I can cover the repair after being overdrawn and the mounting fees that will occur. God, I hate banks. I hope to be able to save for a new mac book by January or maybe a little later. I must get my finances in order first. I tried to get several books on budgeting money from the library but they were all listed as missing, which means they were stolen by broke ass people.
The hilarious Estelle Getty died on Tuesday. I loved her as Sophia Petrillo on the Golden Girls. I watched Golden Girls with my mom when it was on the air in the 80s and became addicted to it after college. I lived for Golden Girls and Designing Women marathons! In tribute to Mrs. Getty here are some one liners from her as the witty widow Sophia Petrillo.
