CSI NY- SEASON 6
So far this has been pretty good. Some thoughts:
- Lindsay is looking extremely doable this Season, best look she's had since late Season 2/ early Season 3, very hot and sexy.
-Also have to love the quirkiness back in her character, I always loved that about her. It was starting to come back in Season 5, but it seems to be much more stable now. Hope it stays that way, the girl deserves a Season of happiness and peace after the recurring angst of the past three years.
- The above pretty much applies to the Danny/Lindsay relationship, even with what they have to deal with, it's great to see that they are really quite happy together and have found a little stability now. They seem to be generally helping each-other through this bump in their life together, rather than one shutting the other out, as they did with their respective dramas in Seasons 3 and 4. It also seems that their love for each other and their daughter is really allowing them value what they have instead of missing what they (mainly Danny-obviously) have lost.
-New girl is annoying especially as the ptb allegedly killed off Jess at the end of last year, to make budget cuts and have fewer guest appearances, yet mysteriously can budget this recurring guest appearance. I'm getting mixed signals on the whole thing, they seem to have contradicted themselves. And it doesn't help that the character does little to hold my interest, especially compared to Jess.
-Flack's storyline should be interesting , he's definitely broken over Jess and is seemingly spiraling towards oblivion. Real kudos to the writers for incorporating the notion of his personal grooming and hygiene and appearance deteriorating, that's a sure sign of depression and withdrawl in real life, so including it really conveys the emotional state of his character in a very subtle way. His attitude with suspects has also changed, the old wit and sarcasm is gone and replaced by an increasing level of agression, he really does have a lot of issues with the death of his lover, it should be interesting to see how it plays out.
