(no subject)
hola everybody, wow i haven't updated this thing since like forever. i think october was the last time. i've been sucked in to the world of myspace, it's not good. i find myself to be checking it every 10 minutes, waiting for comments and reading stupid bullitens about idiotic quizzies. so yeah.
school has been very stressful these past few weeks. i guess with forecasting for junoir year (holy crap!) and spring sports mixing with average day homework and journal checks make it a big pain. like right now for example, i'm typing chapter two questions for mentink for american lit class. Some of the classes i signed up for next year probabliy the biggest one is publications. i've found a liking in writing and rolling stone magazine, so i'm going to take it and see if i can get anywhere with that. that would be a awesome job. oh and i'm taking chinese! heck yes it's a new class so it'll be sweet.
i'm also doing something i haven't done since 5th grade, and that's joining a team. yes i signed up for southridge track and field, and i'm doing either sprint or long distance, i need to find which one i like the best. but i may not join now because my parents told me that practice is 3:30-5:30 everyday and i have other comitments around the family so my parents want me to think about it over the weekend and come up with a answer. i totally want to do it because one, i'm on a awesome team with lots of people that i know, second, i HAVE something to be doing, like right now i'm doing nothing this entire three-day weekend and third, i can get in shape.
christina told me on the phone that the practice time is different for each event, so does practice just goes for a hour? because if it does then i'm in and my parents can let me do it.
finals are 2 weeks away. jez. we're 2/3 done with the school year. summer is not the far away too. my dad said that he's trying to get a cruise to mexico because it's impossible to get to hawaii this time. i really wanted to go back to maui but mexico does sound fun. i've never been on a cruise nor been outside the US (i've never been outside the west coast).
i haven't been playing the guitar as much as i used too. my teacher really isn't teaching me anything, an example would be kasmir by led zeppelin. he taught me i would say about 5 minutes into the song, but the rest he moves on to another song. i'm missing 3 more minutes plus the solo part. the only REAL song i can play is brain stew by green day, the opening for holiday, and bass solo of holiday by green day, opening for smoke on the water by deep purple (it's soo old) and the james bond theme song. i've started to listen to alternative and punk lately. i've been listening to panic! at the disco, and my favorite, paramore. they came to portland around the middle of january but i never got tickets. but i'm seeing franz ferdinand again along with death cab for cutie on march 22nd. it's going to be awesome. what's even awesomer is that the new RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS ALBUM COMES OUT MAY 9TH!!!!!!!!! i've already gotten my $20 ready in my drawer.
speaking of which, i'm saving up for a iPod video...yes that's right...i've been saving since january, and all i need now is $119 and i can get it. whoa my franz ferdinand poster just fell on me which scared me alittle because i heard this ripping sound and wondered where the hell it was coming from and the poster fell on me.
so i'm gonna go, i spent about a half hour updating and hopefully is up to date, i'm going to try to update alot.
