This is really, really great.

You captured the tone of the books perfectly, especially the dry humour. It's just a little bit softer, though, and I like that, because the books sometimes are almost too harsh. So, I think it's a perfect mixture of book!verse and movie!verse.

And I love how you can tell that Donald is already in love with Timmy, even if he doesn't admit it to himself yet. And how Timmy handles the situation. He's such a gentleman. :-)

I hear you about "softer." Some bits of the books I've read have really been harsh, and some of that touches on the sexual side, which on the one hand, great, true, but on the other, not my, er, sex fantasy, if you know what I mean.

I think it's a perfect mixture of book!verse and movie!verse.

Thanks for saying this, because it makes me feel like I am on the right track when I write these guys. I could be far truer to the books, but...I'd rather not, because I love the boys the way they are presented in the films, yet the books have far more things in them to, well, write fanfic about.

Cool, man! Glad you liked. The whole book!canon versus movie!canon makes me crazy.

Don is already falling in love with Timmy, but he doesn't know it yet-- I really like how you let that come through. And I felt so bad for Brigit. Timmy handled the whole thing beautifully. Enjoyed this very much.

Oooh, good, yes, I was totally trying to imply this, so I'm awfully glad you got it. Who could resist him? I could not, for example. Donald should be helpless before him.

And we've all been there-when we're with someone we don't know that well and there's this big TMI moment? This is the case for both Timmy and Brigit. Don holds all the cards, but they both hold keys to his heart, and know how to use 'em.

Very well done!

I love your take on the book!verse. Especially Timothy is very well done. The whole tone is dry, yet hits all the emotional marks. And the ending is just great <3

I love your take on the book!verse.

Oh, yay, because really, I tone it down because otherwise it's too...uncomfortable and crazy-making. Glad you enjoyed!
