never dreamed that the first thing i would do when i woke up this morning wold be a 10k race!
so i am now i colorado....i have actually been here for a couple of very eventful days! lets see friday morning i woke up about 8 and started packing my stuff (yeah i am such a procrastonator) and then we headed out to the air port around like 10:30 or something like that...i was supposed to stop by PJC to grab my math book, but i totally forgot (and my dad did too) that is was memorial day weekend, so we had to cancel that out and head straight to the airport (and let me tell you it was packed). My dad and i got a drink and sat down together for about 20 min before gettin in the security line, then when i got through the check my dad left and i went to wait for the boardin of the plane. I thought the plane ride would honestly be missarble where i would get stuck next to a grumpy old person who didnt want to talk, but to my surprise i sat next to a very nice gentleman who was i guess around his 30s and he was talking to me about his kids and his life and i was doing the same (of course cause i like to talk!).well, we talked the whole time and he helped me to find my gate in atlanta and then he left. so yeah i had like a two hour lay over in atlanta and by the time it was to board the plane we had to switch gates cause of something with the plane!!! girrr made me angry but as soon as we got there we shortly boarded. this time i did sit next to two grumpy old gentlemen who like slept the whole way. that flight was the worst, cause i skipped out on watching the movie, cause i wanted to sleep, but then when i started settling down turblance kicked in, the funniest thing though was a guy who had like two bloody marys (one in each hand) when a bad set of turbulance hit accidently threw them up into the air and it like landed on this man and partly on his son. well, after the turbulance i finally got settled down again and just as i did that the fasten seat belt thing came on and it was time to land....so the whole point.... got no sleep! well, amy and mrs o. picked me up from the airport, and amy made this adorable sign that said "best friend" on it. ya know how when people are picking up people they have signs...well i had one for me!!!! i felt special. it seemed like just when we got home we went out again. Got something to eat and i met sean and matt. let me tell you something though... the altitude here kills me and plus the jet lag from the plane didn help out so like all that first night i had a headache. Fun stuff happened while we were eating like i totally tried to lay on this big southern accient (more than what i usually have) and they totally never picked up on it... it was not cool. but also in the meal this random woman just filmed us....until matt looked at her and she stopped. Just as that happend this guy walked in and we all thought he was going to ask if we minded her taping us but no what is the first thing her wants here...money. I have learned to use all the money you bring with you somewhere so you wont feel guilty when someone askes for it. Then the crazy thing that happend after that was just as someone gave him alot of money and some change he goes over and spends it on the pay phone....yeah i thought he said he needed it for a bus ticket! well, later that night he met up with nikki, natilie, john, garston, sean, and matt and whet to a place called the creek. it was fun to looka t...yeah it was an actual creek. but it was running over cause the snow is melting off of the mountians. After that interesting adventure sean amy danny amd myself went and saw the longest yard. that was an awesome movie...i liked it so much i bought the soundtrack!
the next day consited of sleeping in and then wakeing up then going to bolder creek fest. it was fun... me and amy got tatoos! (airbrushed ones ;) ) after that we went to urban outfitters which is the most amazing store in the world... i got a shirt that has the shape of idaho and its says "idaho? no udaho!" hehe i love it. amz got an adorable shirt and skirt that look cute on her. after that we went to flat irons mall, which is one of the most amazing malls, and we seriously shopped. Of course i got something for justin at urban outfitters, then i got him something at spencers and then i got him cologne he wanted. so yeah he racked up... and knowing me i will buy him more through out the week. we also turned in my heart necklace amy got me for graduation to get engraved (aeo on one side and snr on the other (our initals)) then we went to Charlotte Russe and i totally got like two adorable tank tops for like 10$ and a awesome pair of sunglasses for like 5$ they were having a BIG sale! i think thats all i got that day! Well, when we got malled out (we only accomplished the top level of it!) we came back then swam in amys neighborhood pool with sean, matt, and garston. Eventful things happend at the pool. Like me and amy taught garston how to go under water (yeah he never has done that) and then me and amy formed a taco thing with two floating rafts we were using cause we were so cold. the we the guys and amy played with "lenny" the frisbee... i sat out cause i am not a good firsbee person and i didnt want to make a fool of myself infront of them! lol, yeah well that night sean decided that he was gonna pick me up and throw me over his head but there was no bed behind him to toss me on and i flipped off the bed and he handed on my head...yeah it hurt muh head neck and back...but it was an accident...and now i joke around with him about it!
the next day has probably been the laziest day of the week... we woke up late and the only things we did was went and got my neck lace and i bought a cd and a tank top from rave then some stuff from target. Well, we did kinda of have an eventful night by moving a couch to amys polish friends apartment. yeah it was pouring rain and we put the couch in the van and drove like to the north (to denver) and when we got there we had a time trying to get the couch up the stairs into her apartment. But, it was all fun cause all the way there and back me and amy had a backstreet boys memory thing and listened to all their cds that they have out (yes we still have their cds) and we were actually surprised to know we still knew most of the lyrics.
haha, today, the eventful day! woke up at like 615 and then left the house around 630 to do something called the bolder boulder.... it is a 10k run and it is a big thing here. over 50000 people participate in it. well me and amy started out good pace then the altitude hit me! wow, it affected me so much... i really onestly didnt think it would...it kicked my butt! well we finished the whole thing in like an hour and 30 so min. not bad at all. then we met nikki, john, matt, sean, and gardton in the stands of CU stadium. yeah we were fine while running but after we got through and settled down we started to freeze! it was so cold today. we did little stuff like we got our lunches and then went to the expo thing and got some free stuff... after that we found out the sky diver people were not gonna happen this year so we left and seans mom picked us up and we went to his house till amys mom came and picked us up. i promise you i laughed was to hard for how tiered i was. we came home and i took a nap while amy worked on homework, went to pick up picuters we got developed, and then packing up for the move! tonight we went to olive garden... i havent been in such a long time... and it was cool to just sit and eat. well, need to go call justin now its time and i guess amys gonna update now... well this is chapter one of a series of chapters of what will take place while i am here! more to come...... <3
