(no subject)
Well, so I thought I'd updat emy LJ cause I'm bored.
Living downtown still officially rocks. I had to house sit for the units last week all the way out in K town, and it made me appreciate it all the more.
Things have been pretty low key in the sense that nothing crazy has happened much (which isn't neccesarily a bad thing...), but low key in a good way! And all the people I've been hanging around with all seem to be wicked cool people! So life = good.
Went to a couple concerts recently, some local ska at café Dekcuf (dekcuf spelt backwards :O!), Flatliners, not surprisingly put on a good show (only flaw of the nigth was that someone jacked my scarf, which uber sucked, cause it was a wicked scarf!). Last friday went to go see the Fully Down, and Tub Ring. As expected, FD was very meh, but I was blown away by Tub Ring (go check them out on the net or myspace or something. You'll be glad you did!), and, even more surprise, the opening band, Daiquari (imagine MSI with more recorded synth, more bassy and just as crazy). Went with some kids from work (show virgins who kinda cowered in the corner in fear) and Jenny (who is one of the hippest cats around... although straight up nuts...in a good way). Concerts are made SO much easier when you live downtown.
Going to see Rosesdead/Cancer Bats on monday, and coming up is Comback Kid, DBS, and most importantly, mutha fuckin' HORSE the band (making me wet just thinking about it)!!!! If anyone actually reads these and wants to go to any of these, gimme a shout, silly!
Work is pretty slow... but I'm getting paid, and will be able to afford next semester, so it's all good.
I was thinking about moving back to the 'loo last night, and was almost a little sad.... I came to Ottawa for really one reason. Said reason pretty much doesn't talk to me anymore, and I was all really worried this semester would suck ass... but minus the whole shake up over that, things here have rocked! The people here rock even harder... and I'm gonna miss them all to the H-core when I leave again. I almost don't wanna leave my awsome pad here in O dot.
So, I guess that's it for now. If you've read this far though, you're obviously cool, and therefore we should obviously party, so hurry your ass up, and let's party!
PS I just went to the bathroom, and as I was peeing, I decided peeing outside (at least for guys) is about 249856 times more fun then peeing at a urinal... you get the arc, and you can aim at anything... just thought I'd throw that out there for ya.
