iOMG promo. oh, the hype.
hello, my name is Kar and I love all things girlslash, whether they be on nickelodeon or not. I've recently turned iCarly into my new guilty pleasure after being enlightened to Carly & Sam's magnificent and everlasting gay rainbow love.
anyway, with the introduction out of the way, I hoped to inspire some life in this awesome community by reaching out to my fellow Cam shippers and scream to the people freaking out over the new iOMG promo to CALM THE HELL DOWN!!
let's speculate from a Cam POV since everyone else is freaking out over Seddie. wouldn't it be amazing if it was Carly that Sam had a crush on? well, sure it would be. the promo is ambiguous enough to even assume it. when's the last time Sam had a boyfriend? I don't recall anyone from season 3 and onward. so carly says to her "don't you want a boyfriend?" and I imagine her thinking, "no, I want a girlfriend. I thought the rainbow ring was a dead giveaway." mwuahaha... anyway.
we all know what happened with the iSAFW thing. the promo said one thing, and the result was completely unexpected. nick just loves those misleading promos-- and, well, not even nick, tons and tons of shows will do clever editing to make it seem like something is happening that actually doesn't occur in the episode. I can guarantee that will be the case -- this promo makes it seem like seddie will happen but it'll likely be just a heartwarming friendship moment or what have you. buuut we won't really know until the 9th. GRR IMPATIENCE. but whatever happpens, I'm sure there will be an undercurrent of blatant cam subtext. believe it, guys. \m/
