Hey there, people!
So if you haven't noticed the giant sparkly letters in the post below this one, I'm going to tell you again that nick_girlslash now has 200 members! folkloric_feel and I want to welcome all new members to the comm, and we hope there'll be at least one thing for everyone to love here.
I also want to let you all know that we have a couple of SUPEREXCITING things planned that will be up within these next couple of days, but before that, I must bring modnotes regarding a few things:
* One thing we never covered before is headers. Since this is a multi-fandom community, if you're posting your Megan Parker/Ashley Blake fanart, someone who only watches Nickelodeon for the Fairly Odd Parents might not know where those characters are from if you don't label. So we want to ask everyone to please use headers that at least note the fandom, pairing, and rating of any fanwork you're posting. Here's an example:
Title: The Tangent Universe
Fandom: Space Cases
Pairing: Suzee/Catalina
Rating: M
Summary: Intergalactic girl-on-girl action.
* I know the tag thing can be annoying for some, but we don't want anyone's creations to get buried where they will never be seen again. With tags, no one has to go digging through everything posted here if they want to find fic they want to reread. Tags also make it a lot easier for new members to navigate past posts and maybe even discover that their favorite obscure ships have been written.
* Lastly, always keep in mind that this is a femslash community when you post anything! That means that just having female characters in your icons/fic/fanart/picspam isn't enough. There should be something that lets all of us reading your post know that there's something more than friendly going on between the characters, even if it happens to be one-sided.
So that's about it. Now since we have a lot more members than we did when we first opened this comm, we have a repeat of our very first poll:

And now for the real point of this post: we want everyone here to be as comfortable as possible as well as enjoy the time they spend in this community, so we want to encourage anyone who has any suggestions or comments or just squees to leave them in this post. If there is something you don't like, don't be afraid to let us know! It's the only way way we can improve. If there is something you love and want to see more of, go ahead and tell us! Or maybe you have something we've never even considered to suggest to us. If you have, we want you to tell us!
All comments here will be screened so only the mods can see them, so please don't be shy. Or, of course, you can always PM either me or folkloric_feel.
