The Single Best words to wake up to "Your Accepted"
Well, despite feeling like total crap, I am in a great mood. No, srcew that, I'm in an unbelievable mood. Today, I just got the greatest news so far this year. I've been accepted to volunteer at the Game Developer's Conference in March. So you're probably saying, why are you so excited about volunteering? Well, for only volunteering 15 hours out of 6 days, I get a VIP Pass to the Conference, which basically means I'm VIP. The pass that I get for volunteering is get this, a $2,200 pass. It allows me to go wherever I want and do whatever I want. I get into all of the workshops and seminars, I get to have breakfast and lunch with the top game developers in th world, and I get into the afterparties which every professional game developers attend. Oh man, I cannot wait until March 6th. I cannot express how pysched I am for this despite how nerdy it might sound.
Now you might be saying, what's the big deal and I guess you have to know where I'm coming from. I've been waiting for what seams like forever to meet these guys, they're my idols. They are the reason I'm doing Animation. I guess it still sounds somewhat nerdy, but it doesn't bother me. What's even more amazing are the odds of me being picked. Over 17,000 people applied for only 80 volunteer spots, and they picked me. I can't believe it. I don't know what I said that made them pick me, but thank god I said it. I'm just too excited right now to think straight, so I think I'm gonna go and do something
Oh and Mike, I get the chance to meet a certain really famous developer. He created a couple really popular videogame characters, I think they go by Mario, Link, Yoshi, just to name a few. You know who I'm talking about.....
