What's else could happen, oh wait, sickness
Well this sucks. I wake up this morning, only to have my throat completely clogged, and swelled. My nose it plugged, and my head pounding. What a awful time for my sinuses to come back. I have so much work to get done, and today has been very unproductive. I did get the UV's done for the demon model this morning, and I was testing out the Normal Map. For some reason, the detail wasn't showing up, so I have to take the model with me to school tomorrow and have the team's only other modeler, Aaron, look at it. I probably just forgot to hit a button or something. Anyways, I should have gotten way more work done today, but damn I was tired. I initially woke up at 7 in the morning, spent about an hour trying to get to sleep again because of my throat, and then woke up again.
I didn't make it to any of my classes today which wasn't good. I needed to meet with my Character Rigging group to choreograph our obstacle course animation. Oh well, I can talk to them on Thurs, maybe tomorrow if I see them around school. So when I got up this morning, I took every allergy, sinus, and cold pill I could find. Hopefully I got it before it really started up. I'm starting to feel a little better, which is the only reason I'm writing this. Hopefully I can get some work done tonight before I go to sleep too. Either way, I have to go to school and work all day tomorrow no matter how I feel. I just have to much work to do to just lay around here and feel bad.
So how was this past weekend? Not that bad. I went to Jessica's party on Sat night, which turned out to be ok, if not a little bit of a letdown. I got to see Amy, Rachael, Kristin, Nicky(who I haven't seen in quite a while), and a couple other friends. There was this one brunette at the party that I just couldn't keep my mind off. She was absolutely gorgeous. The problem was I just didn't have it in me to walk up to her. I mean, what do you say? You know that thing that some guys that always them to just walk up to women, say the right things, and get there numbers, well I just don't have that. Now if I had some drinks in me, then maybe there might have been a small chance I would have gone up to her. But the people hosting the party couldn't get the beer replenished for most of the night. Plus, there was usually a line. So I only had like 4 or 5 cups. But that was earlier on before she got there. Oh well, there will be others. Maybe it's just because I'm not really in my element at huge parties like that. I don't really know what to say to a girl to start a conversation. "You go to ASU?", that'd probably end up being what I'd say which is awful.
Besides that party, the last few days have just been work. Man I'm looking forward to a break. I might go up to Wickenburg this weekend for a day or two to spend with my mom since I'm going to be spending Christmas and New Year's with my dad. I kinda feel bad, but my dad's had to spend Christmas and New Year's without me or my sister for the past 10 years, so I think he deserves it. Speaking of which, me, my dad, my stepmom, and my sis are going to Disney World for the day after New Year's. Actually, my dad and I are going to Myrtle Beach for New Year's Eve because that's the place to be. We'll probably hit up Stoudabaker's which is a great club and maybe a concert. The last time I went to Stoudabaker's, it was me, my uncle, and my dad. My uncle actually got me a few shots, and I danced with a few girls and played pool until 4 in the morning.
Well, I'll hopefully be able to do one more update before I leave for South Carolina. I'm hoping to get over this sinus thing in the next couple days, because I feel like going out Friday or Saturday night. Later ya'll
