Theatre review: Posh

They probably won't have a hit this year to rival last year's two juggernauts, but so far Posh is the Royal Court's big seller, having sold out already. Purely shallow elements were in no way a factor, it just happens that sales suddenly got quite good when this cast photo was released.

Hmm...something there for everyone (well, unless your taste runs to women in which case I have no sympathy!) - if I had to choose, probably 2nd from the right, although 1st on the left is curiously interesting too.

I see - so like Ian, you've also zoned straight in on the two with double-barrelled names. Including Fergie's godson. Is it the carefully-affected scruffiness that says "I have money?" ;)

Point of order mister blogger: I said that I did not fancy any of their characters. The boys in real life, a different matter altogether. And not just because if I married one of the them, I'd have children with triple-barrelled names!

OK, well if we're clearing things up, then in response to you claiming you've got dibs on Sam Swainsbury 'cause you spotted him in January, may I present: September. And not last September either, but September 2007 innit.

Well, I do have a natural ability to walk into John Lewis and fall in love with the most expensive shoes/handbag/jewellery in the shop, so I guess that talent extends to men too....shame it never translates into actually ending up buying said chosen item ;-)

Funnily enough I don't think I've sat there at the Downstairs theatre before - usually I'm either two or three rows back in the Stalls, or I try for front row in the Circle. I randomly picked this just for this one show, and it worked out well (I don't just mean for the cast, the stage was quite low down this time around so I wasn't having to look up.)
