I always worry that I should be doing something notable for the first post of a new year; which is silly really 'cause I don't make a big deal of New Year's in any other way. Still, I'd better do something or the first blog entry will be a, most likely grumpy, review of the final David Tennant Doctor Who.
So let's not make a big fuss about it being the first day of the year or the decade (The Tens? The Teens? Could someone decide please?) and instead just focus on it being the first day of the month, in particular the month when Being Human returns for its second series.
I like how, although it's not quite as full of little clues as last year's image, this poster also features little hints about what's on the way - hey do you think there might just be a "surveillance" theme to Series 2? And considering Mitchell's blood bag and Annie's tea, I'm trying to figure out what the specific relevance of George's chicken and chips is; best I've come up with is the "chicken on a string" trick Tully taught him last year. Then there's the graffiti plus the werewolf scratches not only on George's shoulder but also on the BBC3 logo (that's also been appearing on the TV spots, as has the "give blood.")
9:30 on the 10th of January, if you're not a Being Human fan prepare to be bored rigid by me banging on about it for the next 2 months. Then again, if you're not a Being Human fan I'm not sure what you're still doing here anyway.
