Sniffing the stars
Further to last week's fab news that Daniel Boys won't be leaving Avenue Q just yet (in fact almost all the main cast is staying put,) a further bit of excitement: When Rebecca Lock leaves the original Kate Monster/Lucy the Slut, Julie Atherton, will be returning to the show. Yay! Definitely time to start thinking about another visit I think - you may recall I (and most people I know) thought Atherton was much better in the role.
In related news, dave_rc had a bombshell recently: A couple of nights ago he sat on the train for 20 minutes next to Daniel Boys. I have been informed of what station he got off at but will not be standing outside it at all hours, regardless of vanessaw and her "I don't see why you have such an objection to stalking."1 You'd think that Dave might have done his duty and used psychic powers to influence Mr Boys into thinking he should desperately fall in love with a little fat hairy bloke from the next station along. But apparently not. He did however report that FH is very fidgety, and "has no smell," which Dave found odd. Odder, presumably, than the fact that Dave goes around sniffing people on trains.
As for less welcome theatrical news, it looks like the group trip to Eurobeat (the Eurovision spoof musical) won't be happening, as the show is closing early. Boo. Still, saves me a bit of cash for that extra AQ trip.
