Day 4: Wildcat
Today, or yesterday technically, was spent watching Football...And yes, the New York Jets won a game. Now I'm in a minority among Jets fans and have changed my beliefs about the Wildcat formation since the start of the season...because the Jets offense this year has become extremely predictable. While the Wildcat formation won't necessarily get you yards fast, it is just one more thing a defense has to prepare for, one more tool that can be used to keep defenses off balance. Seeing the Jets use a few different variations of it today made me happy, because it showed that the Jets were willing to get a little more creative and a lot less predictable. If I can't predict what Sanchez is going to do on the next play, then I'm happy.
