The USA is called the United States of America, as you know. Look at the English, It is a union of States. So, if Texas broke from the union and became it's own country...Think ofwhat a huge event in history that would be. The last time that occured, the southern states broke away on mass, and a Civil War broke out.

I don't think there is legal means for it, I'll have to ask someone who knows. However, according to Sonnabend/Freedom's First, people are quoting the tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which reads thusly.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Flowery words, but read between the lines. I don't believe for a second that the USA would permit peacible secession.

However, with President Obama failing to fill open spots in his cabinet, and his attempts met with resistance due to taxation issues and other forms of chrime committed by his chosen representatives, buyers remorse is setting in. The Obama Honeymoon is over.

Sad as it might or mightn't be, it was utterly predictable. I won't go further to explain my feelings about Obama, I'd rather not have you hate me, LOL. However, this is no surprise.

So, on to other subjects...I hate accounting, love Epica, and thanks to our little back and forth discussion, we killed my single entry total comments record. Oh, and I don't like Thursdays...Read friends in the morning for that.

I don't believe in politics, nor do I believe much in nationalism. It happens to exist; still I think that just a small world so to say, in which you just know your province or town isn't too bad an idea either.
But it doesn't matter much what you say about Obama or about any politician lol, it wouldn't make me hate you.

Accounting SUCKS. Which is one of the reasons why I never know how much money I have lmao.
