The word of this Year, 2005-Present, is: Complicated.
Complicated has been the in term this past year for describing relationships. Over the weekend I met many individuals who were in Complicated relationships. Examples are:
"Dude, I just got an email from her. Apparently our relationship has been updated to Complicated."
"Man, it's just Complicated. I've been trying to leave the bitch for like 3 years."
And those are the more tame examples.
Complicated is apprently the new way to conduct relationships in the world. Next time someone you know makes mention of a relationship, be on the lookout for the word Complicated.
