no beard, china and new boots
1. i shaved my beard last night. it is weird to see my face again after so long. the kids at work thought that it was hilarious. most of the girls like it better shaved, so i guess that i'll be leaving it like this forever (since what the girls like is all that matters right?).
2. i found out which cities i'm going to in china: shanghai, beijing and xian. we'll be seeing the great wall as well. i'm super stoked now. i'm glad that it isn't that far away.
3. joe found a fair of boots on craigslist for me today. i went over to the dude's house and they fit me perfect. $200 leather ice-climbing/hiking boots. while i was trying them on he told me that he had another pair of boots: plastic mountaineering boots. he sold both pairs to me for 50 bucks. the plastic ones are normally 300 and the other 200. not a bad deal.
